Summer 2026 - INDEPENDENT RESEARCH PROJECT
Household Bacteria Analysis using AI-Powered Bio Imaging (Cell Profiler)
The lab tests which everyday surfaces contain the most bacteria. This is done by taking samples or swabbing everyday objects and growing bacteria colonies on agar plates.
Images will be taken periodically of each sample and uploaded to AI CellProfiler for bacteria identification and colony size/density.
